Easement/approach curve for use with 20-185 super-elevated curves.
Easement curves are superelevated at one end (marked by a triangle on the underside of the piece) and flat on the other. They act as ‘adaptors’ for the superelevated curves.
The Double Track Curved pieces (20-185) feature ‘Superelevated Curves’ which means that they are tilted to create a realistic banked shape. This does mean that ‘Easement Curves’ (20-186) are required to connect to the superelevated curves to regular flat track (either double track or Standard Kato Unitrack).
Kato Unitrack Concrete Sleeper (Tie) Double track is completely compatible with all other Unitrack.
