Hattons have release the following statements regarding the Dapol class 59s and 68s samples.
Dapol are producing a newly tooled model of the Class 59 diesel locomotive in N gauge. Eight variations are planned catering for 59/0, 59/1 and 59/2 subtypes in a wide selection of liveries. Decorated samples have now been shown, however, these are only early versions and may still undergo changes before the final release in Q4 2023.
Dapol produce an N gauge model of the Class 68 locomotive. Five new models are to be released during Q2 2023 covering TransPennine Express and Direct Rail Services liveries. This new batch also includes the new 2022 DRS/ NTS livery.
We were given a sneak peek at the first decorated samples for the new range. However, these are only early versions and may still undergo changes before the final release.
